11 PRACTICE STRATEGIES

Here are some strategies on how you can become a great player . . .

1.  Show up.

2.  Showing up is NOT enough.   You also have to pay attention

3.  Ask questions.

4.  Ask for help.

5.  Help others.

6.  Do the work. (Do what you have to do, when you have to do it, whether you feel like it or not)

7.  Don’t quit.

8.  Don’t just go to practice — be a student of the game

9.  Don’t just be “at” practice, be “into” practice!

10.  Don’t say, “I can’t,” when you really mean, “I don’t want to.”

11.  Stop underestimating yourself.

“It’s your attitude, not your aptitude, that determines your altitude.”
