Like Michelangelo being able to "see" the end result from a giant block of marble, most coaches can spot a player that has an “angel within” just waiting to be set free. However, without the help of a coach, most players lack the vision, patience and discipline necessary to make it happen.
All it takes is creating the vision of the player you want to become, and like Michelangelo carefully chipping away at the block of marble, focus your efforts on working toward that vision of the player you want to become until it begins to take shape.
