One of the best assets of a good player that the average fan rarely even notices, is the player's availability to the ball. Good players should constantly be asking themselves "Can the ball be thrown to me right now WITH NO PROBLEM?"Always adjust your position so that wherever the ball is on offense, your teammate can make the pass to you without a problem.
Great players seek out opportunities to get the ball.
