Got a phone call from Brad Milner at the News Herald this afternoon informing me of the "official" announcement for the first two athletes to be named to the Freedom All-Star Classic East girl's team....... Haley Sheffield! The announcement naming her as one of the first selections will be in the paper this weekend.
Although he didn't mention Megan McDonald (Bethlehem pictured here) this afternoon, he did previously tell me that she will likely be on the team as well.
